There are many different ways to approach treating someone who struggles with anxiety. At Fairapy, there is an approach in Psychotherapy called Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Many wonder, how does Cognitive Behavior Therapy help with anxiety? CBT gives you a new way and understanding of how to think about your problems, and your Psychotherapist typically gives you tools to work through them.
CBT is typically a short-term treatment, where we review some triggers and things that can trigger your anxiety. In this approach, your therapist will break down the triggers and deeply examine why they cause you anxiety. Once we know why and work through it, we work with you to slowly reintroduce them back into your daily life. By bringing them back, you are able to see that by using these tools, you can overcome these triggers, and not let your anxiety control you!
Sound too good to be true? Many have thought the same, but using Psychotherapy to help with your anxiety works, and our team would love to show you how! Ready to take the next step? Schedule a free consultation today!
