Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's)

Is it truly confidential?
Yes, absolutely! Everything you share with your therapist stays between you and them, within the bounds of professional and legal confidentiality standards. Your professors, parents, or peers will not have access to your records or know you’re attending sessions unless you choose to tell them.

What kind of issues can I talk about?
You can talk about anything that’s on your mind! Common concerns students bring to therapy include academic pressure, test anxiety, procrastination, relationship issues, loneliness, adjusting to campus life, self-esteem struggles, and feelings of anxiety or depression. Our therapists here at Fairapy are here to listen and support you. Therapy is your space to explore whatever you’re dealing with, even if you’re not sure exactly what that is yet.

Can I request a female therapist?
Of course! In fact, our team is made up entirely of experienced and compassionate female therapists. If having a female therapist is important to you, rest assured that your comfort is our priority and you’ll be matched accordingly.
